Caleb turned 4 months old this past Sunday. We took him to the doctor for his checkup yesterday and he weighed 13 lbs. 8 oz. (34th percentile) and was 25 inches long (68th percentile). He is growing and changing so much right now! His personality is starting to show more and more every day. He is still a very happy little guy and loves interacting with us. He loves to smile and laugh (although we never know when a laugh is going to come out). He watches everything we do and is starting to let us know that he doesn't like it when we walk out of the room and leave him by himself! He is sleeping through the night! We put him to bed around 8:30pm and I get him up to feed him around 10pm before we go to bed. He goes right back down after that and will usually sleep until 6:30am or 7am. A lot of the time he will wake up in the morning and talk to himself for a while before we go in and get him up. He always has a huge smile for us when we come into his room. He enjoys playing on his playmat that has toys hanging down. He grabs onto them and swats at them and just seems to have a lot of fun. He loves sitting up and standing up. He can't do either by himself yet, but loves it when we put him in those positions. He started rolling over from his back to stomach last week. He still is not rolling from his stomach to back (he did a few times when he was a month old, but hasn't done it since). He is really starting to be interested in everything that is around him and is reaching for and grabbing for anything that he can. He is always sucking on his hands and fingers. We wonder if he will be a finger sucker, but so far he hasn't shown a preference for a particular finger, he just likes putting them all in his mouth at the same time! We are loving being parents and can't wait to see what this next month is going to hold!
