Visitors from Virginia!

Last weekend Heather's parents, Larry and Laurie Simpson, visited us from Virginia! We had a fun-filled Colorado weekend, but it was too short! We spent a full day touring the hills around Victor, CO, taking in the beautiful golden Aspens. It was a perfect fall day, and the scenery was breathtaking!! We also attended the Navy-Air Force game (Larry is a Naval Academy graduate). We arrived early to set up our tailgate. It was windy, but even the wind couldn't keep us from enjoying the fried chicken! One of the highlights of a football game at the Academy is the pregame entry of the cadets and, of course, the flyover. And this game was no disappointment (except for the cancellation of the parachute team because of the wind). The flyover for this game consisted of the B-2 Stealth bomber and two F-22 Raptors, which was a real thrill! We didn't get any pictures of the flyover because we were too busy watching with awe. By the way, Navy won the game 33-27!! Go Navy!!
